Summer Reading Program
It’s not too late to register! 132 children have stopped by the Library and registered for their summer reading adventure! You can join the fun, too! Adventures await those who join the summer reading program. In addition to reading great books, readers can participate in fun and fantastic programs:
Starting July 1: Come in to the library and get a map. The first 70 readers to complete the hunt get to pick a prize from our treasure chest!
Water Fun Day - July 16, 1-3 p.m. Join us behind the library for a fun day filled with water games. Wear your swim suit, you will get wet!
End of Reading Program Swim – Aug. 14, 3-5 p.m. End of the year swim party! Find out who read the most during the summer. First place winners in each age group will win ticket to Kings Dominion.

Isshinryu Karate Classes
New karate session starts in July (3 months). Classes are open for ages 5 and up and run $100 per participant⁄$70 for additional family members. All classes are held at the Community House. Register at the Fitness Center. Call 540-653-2016 for more information.

Softball and Soccer Fall Registration
Registration begins on July 7 with team meetings:
Co-Ed Softball: July 7, 4:30 p.m.
Men’s Softball: July 7, 5 p.m.
Soccer: July 7, 5:30 p.m.
Intramural sports are open to all. (Civilian participants must play on a team 60% military or DoD)
Military and Fitness Center Members play at no charge
$30 – DoD Employees
$44 – Civilian, contractors and their dependants

Kickball Tournament
Begins July 15
Register at the NSF Dahlgren Fitness Center. $20 per team. Registration deadline July 11. Games will be played on Tuesday's and Thursday's at 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. until the conclusion of the tournament. All patrons welcome!
