June 18, a fire alarm went off at the PX. An investigation revealed that a 2-year-old child pulled a fire alarm device. The Fort Detrick fire department responded. There were no injuries reported.
June 18, DIS reported several vehicles were damaged in the overflow parking lot of the Flair Armory. An investigation revealed that two workers were replacing old power lines in the parking lot when one of the wires broke away from its wire grip striking four parked vehicles. The vehicles sustained minor damage to the paint on the hoods. The vehicle owners were notified.
June 18, there was a traffic accident in the outbound lanes at Veterans Gate. An Infiniti Coupe attempted to change lanes striking a Dodge sedan resulting in damaging both vehicles. Damages consisted of dents and scratches. No injuries were reported.
June 24, a Soldier lost his Fort Detrick access badge. An investigation revealed the Soldier lost his badge sometime between Jan 1 and March 31 at an unknown location on Fort Detrick. A search was conducted with negative results.
