Youth tennis camp

Aqua aerobics at NRC Solomons
Exercise and cool off this summer in the NRC Solomons pool with Mary Severson during aqua aerobics Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 - 8 p.m. Open to ages 15 and older. Join the yoga basics class with Ann Hunt Mondays (July 7, 14, 21, 28, Aug. 4, 11) from 5:45 - 6:45 p.m. The price is $42 for a six week session and $21 for Liberty E1-E6. Register at the ITT office by July 7.

The Cedar Point Club will not be open through July 6, in observance of Independence Day week.

Become a certified home care provider
Would you like to work at home caring for children? The Navy’s Child Development Home program offers training and certification to military spouses who wish to become certified home care providers. Orioles vs. Yankee game
See the Saturday, Aug. 23 Baltimore Orioles vs. the New York Yankees at Camden Yards and enjoy a 90 minutes pre-game picnic. The menu includes one sandwich of Bourbon Barbecue brisket of beef, on a Kaiser roll; one grilled kosher style hot dog with ketchup, mustard, relish and onions; Farfalle pasta salad with mushrooms, roasted tomatoes, grilled red onions and parmesan garlic dressing; Oriole Park popcorn, fresh sliced watermelon, jumbo cookies, draft beer and soda. Back to school shopping
Just in time for back to school shopping head to the Rehoboth Outlets Saturday, Aug. 2. The price is $20 and includes transportation, snacks and coupon book worth over $450 in savings. Register at the ITT office.

Camping
Campsites are available at Hog Point and Goose Creek. Some sites have water and electricity. Sites may be booked up to 90 days in advance and are limited to 30 days duration. Active duty, reservists and retired military, DoD civilians, contractors and their families may make reservations. Gear Issue rents camping gear: tents, sleeping bags, coolers, and lanterns. Fishing, crabbing
The ITT office sells station licenses for fishing and crabbing. There are many great spots including Fishing Point, located off Cedar Point Rd. From Gate 2, drive past the taxi way at the U.S. Naval Test Pilot School, and turn left at the sign before the Beach House. Maryland fishing licenses must be purchased in town beforehand.
